Vestibular Rehabilitation

"When I first came for physical therapy I didn't think it would work. But in the process of trying to correct my spinning, my therapist found the real cause of my symptoms. I did a lot of strange things while I was here but they worked! I also did a home program and now that I have reached my goals and can always do my home exercises when I feel the need to in the future, I would not hesitate to send anyone to Rehabilitex for P.T. Thank you."

"I came to Rehabilitex because I had Labyrinthitis and was quite dizzy. The dizziness had gone on for some time. Janet immediately demonstrated some exercises for me to do. She also explained very clearly and understandably what was wrong with me and how the exercises would help. Within 2 days I had seen noticeable improvement, and continued to see improvement as I continued with the exercise program. After a number of weeks, and against Janet's advice, I stopped the exercises. Soon I began to notice my symptoms returning -- just as Janet had thought they might. When I returned to her recommended regimen, I noticed again an immediate improvement. I learned that self-diagnosing was not the answer! I was, and am, incredibly grateful for the wisdom, patience, helpfulness, and wonderful spirit displayed by Janet and the entire staff."

" I started at Rehabilitex in September of 2003 after a referral from my doctor at CCF. I was diagnosed with BPPV and had a lot of anxiety after going 3 months without a diagnosis. I am 47 years old and a physical education teacher and coach. I have always been very active in athletics and in life in general. This condition was disabling to me to a point where I could do very little but sit in a chair, and I didn't do that very well. I started my physical therapy sessions with Janet repositioning me once a week to get the "stones" back to where they belonged. I wasn't cooperative at first because the terrible spinning sensation was more than I could take. I soon realzied I had to trust Janet and let her do her job; that is when I started to make progress. After about 6 weeks Dr. White and Dr. Oas at CCF along with Janet, determined that I also had an inner ear dysfunction, so my treatment changed to habituation exercises. This is when I began to feel marked improvement. There were no more "loose stones" and these exercises made me feel more confident doing everyday movements. At first, they were uncomfortable (but then became habit) and helped my body adjust to my dysfunction............... .....Today (12-04-03) I "graduated" form Rehabilitex after 10 visits. I am about 90% of full functioning. I'm not scared anymore now that I understand the source of my problem. Janet along with the doctors in the vestibular program at the cleveland clinic were always positive and strengthening to me. When I developed a sense of trust in them, my condition took a turn for the better. It was difficult to go through this past 6 months. I went from scared and anxiety ridden to almost my old self in just the 2 months of treatment at Rehabilitex. Thank you all for all you've done."

Aquatics

"As someone who has had back pain and Fibromyalgia symptoms for 20 or so years, I knew that the only form of exercise I could tolerate was swimming. But even that was difficult because nothing ever hurt in the water, but later on the pain would occur. It was obvious that I needed someone to teach me what and how much I should be doing. My experience at Rehabilitex has done that, and more. At the time I started coming I had been in constant pain due to pressure on a nerve for 6 weeks. It has been a month, and the nerve pain is almost completely gone. I have learned how to take the pressure off and allow it to heal, and how to prevent it from happening again. I am so grateful!"

— Gail Z.

"I had a surgical back procedure called Kyphoplasty to relieve pain caused from a compressed vertebrae. My surgeon wrote a prescription for water therapy which he felt would help strengthen my back muscles and give me more stability to get back to normal. I have just completed a session of therapy which I feel has been very beneficial in trying to attain better upright posture. I have come to understand that this will need to be an ongoing program of therapy for me. The exercises I was given to do during my several weeks of therapy at Rehabilitex, Inc., while seemingly very simple and easy to do in the water, proved very helpful and I will continue to do them. The therapists are experienced, helpful, and eager to see you attain your goals to healthier living."

Spine Care

" I could not be more pleased with the results and professionalism that I received for my latest treatment and in the past as well. Linda's knowledge, diagnosis, therapy, and genuine concern are most respected and appreciated. I have my quality of life back and out of pain. Equally important, I have knowledge and training to prevent reocurrence. I am also appreciative of Mary Ellen, and Dino with their knowledge, skills, and concern to help. The entire administrative staff possesses the same level of professionalism and courtesy with scheduling, processing, and billing. I have and continue to highly recommend Linda and Rehabilitex to friends. My thanks and appreciation to everyone!"

"When my doctor suggested physical therapy and water therapy I was very disappointed. I want an x-ray and surgery to get rid of my problem. Being a nurse this way was protocol to me. My attitude my first session was terrible. I didn't think it would work and didn't want to do it. To my amazement I started to improve. I did continue the exercises at home because I wanted to prove to my doctor that this physical therapy thing she suggested wasn't working and to go ahead with the MRI and then surgery. Which I convinced myself I needed because of the fact I'm an orthopedic surgery nurse (post-op care). My therapy helped me realize that I am in control and can control my symptoms with body mechanics. Thanks so much for not giving up on me throughout the last appointments and negative attitude. Today I am pain free without any invasive surgery."

Thanks again,"

— Karen S B., RN

"Spondylolisthesis at L4-L5 developed after hemilaminectomy surgery. Linda Kinser was able to correctly diagnose the problem and provide me with the muscle strengthening and posturing tools that allowed me to return to my former level of walking and dancing English Country Dance. It's so gratifying to finally have something that works! By regularly doing the strengthening exercises I'm able to eliminate 90% of the hip pain and by doing "on-the-spot" exercises I'm able to relieve the other 10% pain that occurs when dancing or walking. Thanks for knowing what was wrong and providing me with a solution!"

--- Veree W. (3 months post PT)

"First I need to thank all of the associates of Rehabilitex for assisting me in recovering from a "severe to me" back problem. After having spent one week flat on my back from a herniated disc, to be painfree one month later is a miracle (no surgery). Second, when I indicated "all of the associates", I mean all.... front desk to therapists. Third, I would be happy to be part of a testimonial advertising... Thank you."

TMJ, Headaches and other Cervicogenic Conditions

"Frank Gargano is an excellent physical therapist with extensive knowledge of the cervical spine and its relationship to the brain. After an entire year of seeing multiple doctors and physical therapists. Frank Gargano and Dr. John Oas were able to diagnose and treat me. I am grateful for the expertise and attention I received from Frank. I am "back on my feet" after a long year of poor health, including several months of being bedridden. As a 33 year old mother, I am thrilled to finally be living my life again. I would recommend Frank to anyone with cervicogenic dizziness or for anyone needing a general physical therapy evaluation or second opinion."

--- Meredith B.

"I have been a patient of Rehabilitex on two occasions. Most recently I was seen for severe headaches and dizziness as a result of long standing neck problems. THis is the best I remember feeling for several years. Linda and Renee worked with me on several techniques, exercises and posture improvement. THey all worked very effectively with me and worked diligently at teaching me how to keep it all up at home. It has been a month since my last treatment and I continue to feel awesome. ALso, it was always a pleaasure to wokr with the other staff. Everyone was professional, friendly and punctual!"

---Julie M.

"I am a conservative person who has to be convinced of most things. My favorite motto is "Seeing is believing". When I first came to Rehabilitex and was told all my TMJ symptoms, headaches, nausea, dizziness, eyesight problems, imbalance and other minor symptoms could be coming from my neck, my thoughts were very doubtful in getting "cured" of these symptoms. After the very first visit, I noticed changes. For 30 years I have been unable to perform certain tasks like washing walls and couldn't move well. My migraine headaches might not even be migraines. The headaches were coming from my neck. I have not "hugged" the toilet bowl since I started here. My TMJ symptoms have cleared along with my eyesight. Now that I feel like I am 18 again, I have this advice for all future clients. Follow directions well. The training and exercise you are given are custom detailed for you and your specific problems. Faithfully follow them. At first your body will need to adjust to the new regimen and not feel well. It will not take long however to begin to feel better than you have ever felt in your life. Your body wants to heal. Give it what it needs and it will. Rehabilitex knows what you need."

Here's to better health!"

Trauma

"In October of 2004, my neck was injured in a head-on vehicle accident. I suffered from arm, neck and shoulder pain, headaches and muscle spasms. I sought the help of Rehabilitex four to five months after the accident after making little progress at another physical therapy group. The therapists at Rehabilitex by using the McKenzie Method were able to greatly lessen my symptoms and teach me how to calm my sympotms down when they flared up. Before coming to Rehabilitex, my experience with physical therapy was that it was painful and I didn't see much relief in my symptoms. Through exercise, positioning and tension points, the therapists at Rehabiilitex were able to reduce my symptoms without painful manipulation. With the help of Rehabilitex, today I am able to manage my sympotms and have my life back with less pain."

---Kasie B.

"I came to Rehabilitex after I had been in an accident where I was hit by a car. My orthopedic doctor recommended going to physical therapy to strengthen my knee and leg. It has been a great experience for me from my first appointment with my therapist to all the following appointments and assistance given me by all the personnel from the receptionist to every clinical technician, a great group of people. It was such a nice family feeling each time I came and my leg and knee have improved beautifully. They cared how you felt, how you progressed and rejoiced in every progress you made. I am grateful to them all every day."

Geriatrics

"I am a 73 year old and for the last few years I experienced pain in my neck and limited motion. It was especially noticeable when driving looking out the side window for on coming traffic. Then for the last 6 months I had constant pain in my neck. My doctor sent me to Rehabilitex for therapy. My physical therapist, Linda Kinser, took measurements of the range of motion of my head and found they were below normal. She instructed me on the three different exerices that I did at home. After just one session the pain in my neck was gone. The range of motion had also improved. The second session, Linda had instructed me on an additional 5 exercises. Four days later, my third session, the range of motion of my neck was within normal range, my posture was also improved from stooped shoulder to a straight back. I was really surprised after, that it could be relieved in a one week period. I continue doing the exercises now to prevent recurrence of the problem. I want to thank the staff of Rehabilitex and especially Linda Kinser for their professionalism."

---Leonard W.

"I am 76 and I recently completed my physical therapy program, post knee replacement surgery, that was designed here at Rehabilitex. I was not at all familiar with this facility until my initial interview. I chose it from a list shown to me by my home health therapist. I have been so pleased with my progress these past four weeks and I found the therapists most knowledgeable and pleasant to work with . Special thanks to Linda Kinser for her guidance, caring and kindness extended to me. I found all to be very professional and the reception desk employees were most efficient. I would not hesitate to return to htis facility for therapy, at any future time, that it would be necessary."

---Anne S.

"Late September 2005, I developed severe pain in my right knee, which rendered me unable to walk, stand or lie down without severe pain. My physician diagnosed loose cartilage in the knee cap. I was treated with a cortisone shot and he suggested a program of therapy. I chose Rehabilitex. I was able to get an appointment right away and was assigned to Rick as my therapist. He was very thorough in his examination and diagnoses of my range of movement. He took time to explain what was happening with my knee. He took me through a series of gentle exercises to strengthen the knee after 6 treatments spread over a 2 week period. I am now 99% back to where I was before the pain developed. I received very good treatment. The staff was very courteous and caring. My two therapsits that participated in my treatment were Rick and Linda, they were both very efficient. I continue with my program at home and know I can call them if needed. In all, a very good experience."

"I'm 71 years old, 6'1" and overweight at 260 lbs. I was diagnosed with lumbar canal stenosis. This condition was giving me a lot of back pain and I had stopped playing golf. I saw the orthopedic doctor at the spine center and he recommended you and Rehabilitex for physical therapy. You worked with me for about a month and showed me the exercises to continue and what to avoid. I am a member of the wellness center and have followed your advice with the 3 weekly workouts about 30 - 40 minutes each. I am happy to report that I am now free of all lower back pain. The strengthening of muscles relating to the lower back has worked BIG time for me. How can I express my profound gratitude and thanks for your help? Maybe this letter will inspire other patients."

— Chandler H.

"In January 2004, I was diagnosed with 3 herniated discs in my neck. I had a great deal of discomfort and pain in my neck and shoulder. I also had very limited mobility in turning my head and raising my arm. I was told by my doctor that I had 3 choices of treatment: physical therapy, shots, or surgery. I chose physical therapy hoping this would help. After 2 months of therapy and continuous exercises, I am happy to say I almost have full mobility when turning my head and I now am able to raise my arm without pain. I also continue exercising at home as I believe this helps a great deal. I would also like to thank the staff at Rehabilitex as they were all wonderful and very helpful. I could not have done it without them."

Orthopedics

"I have been the recipient of very professional services from Rehabilitex therapists and other staff members. I had a rotator cuff surgery, a broken ankle, and most recently very painful neck problems. In all of my therapy sessions, I was provided with the appropriate exercises to help relieve pain and strengthen the areas in need of rehabilitation. If an exercise appeared to be painful or difficult, my therapist, Linda, would always find an alternative exercise that was more appropriate. all exercises were thoroughly explained and demonstrated to me, so that my home program would be done correctly. I was very impressed with the therapists' expertise and thoroughness in developing my exercise programs. Everyone on staff was friendly, supportive, and really cared about my progress. When I had to reschedule an appointment due to illness, I received a call from Debbie, inquring about my health. Now that is a personal touch! I highly recommend Rehabilitex to anyone in need of physical therapy."

--- Doreene M.

"Over a year or so time period I had twisted my right ankle a number of times - often for no apparent reason! I could be walking on a flat floor, barefoot, and it would mysteriously give way. In the beginning, a simple ace bandage for a few days would fix it up. But eventually, I was unable to comfortably walk (even short distances) without pain. I was referred to Frank Gargano, PT, DPT, and owner of Rehabilitex, by my physician after 8 weeks on an aircast that did not solve the problem. Frank and his staff explained I had lost the ability in my ankle to respond quickly to potentially injurous movements. The ankle no longer snapped back into it's appropriate position to guard it even when my brain sent the message. It's kind of like your hand waiting too long to draw back from a hot object even though your brain told you to! So, I was taught to tape my ankle into it's appropriate position. This gave me immediate pain relief and the support it needed. Through daily (simple) exercises, my ankle muscles learned to respond to signals sent by nerve pathways quickly and correctly. This allowed my ankle to heal, gain strength and function properly. I now use the tape only when a strenuous activity is in my plans. Thanks to Frank, Renee, and his great staff!!"

--- Beth G.

"The physical therapist was extremely knowledgeable and produced results beyond expectations. I would have never thought pain reduction could be so immediate. I looked forward to coming here. The staff was friendly, professional and courteous. It was an all around "great" experience."

— Don D.

"I would like to express my appreciation for treatment I received at Rehabilitex. Everyone was very friendly and efficient and helpful. Linda, the clinical supervisor, was available when needed. The treatments helped my back. Everyone I was in contact with was helpful and pleasant. I would and already have, recommended them to my friends, neighbors and family!! Thank you!"

--- Betty K.

"I had a Total Left Shoulder Joint Replacement on June 6, 2006. Physical therapy at Rehabilitex helped me regain full use of my shoulder, arm and hand. Linda and Renee taught me the proper way to do each exercise. They understand how painful and difficult therapy can be. They encouraged me every step of the way with kindness and compassion. The dedication for the welfare of their patients is outstanding and very professional. The entire staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend Rehabilitex for any physical therapy."

--- Dolores M.L.

"I came to Rehabilitex with a sore leg that had limited movement and was introduced to Linda Kinser who would work with me over the next two months. She was very knowledgeable and interested in all aspects of my problem and gave me several exercises that have helped to improve my mobility. Linda's knowledge of how the body works is quite impressive and she has a great deal of interest in Rehabilitating her clients to their potential. I have recommended her to friends and am comfortable that they will get the best treatment and advice."

---Jim B.

"When I first began therapy at Rehabilitex, I was unable to move my right arm above shoulder level. That meant I couldn't get anything off the top shelves in my cupboard, hang up clothes in the closet, or buy any product on an upper shelf. My rear movement was also affected making it painful to put on my seat belt. Through the exercises supervised by Linda, I have now regained most use of this arm and shoulder painfree. At first, I didn't believe that something as simple as exercise could relieve the pain. I was amazed that following Rehabilitex's program how such progress could be made. I would definitely recommend Rehabilitex, Inc. to anyone. I found all of the staff very caring and concerned about my welfare.

--- Nancy B.

"The rehabilitation techniques they recommmended to treat my tennis elbow were effective and contributed mightily to my full recovery within three weeks and ten visits at Rehabilitex. The inflamed condition of my right elbow was lingering for four months so I was quite pleased with the quick recovery. Provided the patient listens and performs the exercises prescribed, I am confident that rehabilitation through exercise therapy will work for most people. This is my second episode with Rehabilitex (rotator cuff in 2001) and both have led to successful outcome. I would recommend Rehabilitex (and have) to patients requiring physical therapy and I am confident Frank Gargano and his able staff will influence a favorable result."

---Wayne B.

"Enjoyable --- Fun? Not words typically used to described physical therapy. But it happened! The courteous, friendly Rehabiltex staff with their soothing, relaxing demeanor made me feel comfortable immediately. I was experiencing severe leg and knee pain on my first visit. My therapist, who came highly recommended, put me at ease and after just that first session, the pain had subsided dramatically. Noticeable improvements continued with each of my followup visits. At the close of my therapy sessions I was assigned simple exercises. They were just what I needed to remain pain-free. So, yes indeed, it is fun and enjoyable to be painfree. Thanks to my therapist, Frank Gargano, and Rehabilitex for their expertise and excellent care."

McKenzie Method / Spine Care

"First of all, a little history: This is my 2nd bout of symptomatic cervical radiculopathy. The first being in April '02 for which I was treated with traditional PT. I am an actively employed CRRN on the acute rehab unit at South Pointe Hospital. Now fast forward to Winter '04. My symptoms recurred and much worse than ever. I was referred to Dr. Mazanec at CCF who in turn referred me to Linda Johnson-Kinser, a credentialed McKenzie Therapist. When I met Linda in Feb. '04 I presented with a left sided list restricted neck range of motion, bilateral radicular arm symptoms and pain level of "7/10". Minimally home remedies included cervical traction, NSAIDS, massotherapy, cervical collar. Now, ten therapy sessions later, which included various treatment interventions; I have put away my home traction unit and am 95% improved. Linda believes that I can better that. The specific exercises I've learned have been incorporated into my life with ease. (They're still work though). But the value, benefit and beauty of the McKenzie Method is that I am improved to control my symptoms, NOT the symptoms controlling me. My gratitude to all!"

--- Mary C.

"Linda, Renee and the entire staff at Rehabilitex was wonderful to work with. For having such a common back problem, I thought I would never recover. The whole staff supported me. With the proper physical therapy and committment, I was able to go back to my normal lifestyle. To this day, a year later, I am using the different techniques given to me to be painfree. Simple lifting is now comfortable the next day. If anyone has the mechanical back pain that I suffered through for too long of a time, they will be amazed at what Rehabilitex can do for them. I thought it would take months to start feeling better. In fact, my therapy went by so quick, that I was actually shocked when Linda told me I did not need to see her anymore. Thanks to everyone at Rehabilitex! You're Great!"

---Rochelle B.

"I am 59 years old and have been seeing chiropractors for my back since I hurt it when I was 19. My experiance with Dr. Sinks (Cleveland Clinic) and Linda Kinser (Rehabilitex) has been extremely positive. I injured my back again in August '08. It was extremely painful and debilitating. Chiropractic was giving me only minimal relief and not much hope as to if it would ever get much better. Dr. Sinks referred me to Linda so I could receive the McKenzie treatment approach for my lower back problems. Linda was able to give me much relief with this approach to the point that I am now playing golf again and am able to lift my grandkids. More importantly though the knowledge I now have. I know exactly what has caused my back problems over the years, the things I have been doing to further aggravate the problem, and the things I can now do to help me live a normal lifestyle. Linda was extremely thorough not only with treatment but with education process. I am now confident if I do the things in a disciplined manner that she taught, that I will have far less back problems and be better able to deal with those I do have."

---Dennis M.

"I am one of the biggest fans of Rehabilitex. With all the pain and suffering I was going through with a herniated disc, I thought no one could help me unless I resorted to surgery. That wasn't an option for me. The entire staff is wonderful from the front desk to the therapist. Linda was my physical therapist and what a "God-send". She truly cares about you as a person and your problems. She goes above and beyond what a therapist would do for you. She is not only caring, but also very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Rehabilitex to anyone needing their services."

--- Leslie W.

"I'm sending this note as a way of saying thank you to both Rehabilitex and you. It's been a few weeks since my last session with you, and I'm happy to say I'm staying pain free, without pills of any kind. That's a far cry from severe pain with pills. The strengthening exercises you've given me are so simple, yet do so much good. Yet, it takes so little time in a day, and at my convenience. Anyhow, I'm very pleased that (for me anyhow) a few corrective posture moves and using the small roll behind my back makes such a difference. At that, I only use the roll on long trips. Your therapy methods are great, and the results for me are greater, thanks."

— Robert D.

Ear Pain

"During the months of February - March and again in May - August, I experienced a blockage in my right ear affecting my hearing. At times it was difficult to hear normal conversations and my own voice seemed loud (inside my head). With each episode I saw either my primary care physician or an ENT specialist. Neither could identify the cause/reason for this blockage and the hearing test showed only a slight decrease in my auditory accuity. I was placed on Allegra D which gave little to no relief.

I then saw Dr. Oas who identified the problem. I was experiencing "muscles spasms' around the eustacian tubes which in turn prohibited the fluid release through the canal. Physical Therapy with Frank Gargano helped relieve the problem. During my sessions, Frank manipulated my head and neck and taught me simple neck and head exercises along with neck muscle massage. Which I did two times a day as recommended. In three weeks, the pressure and fullness in my right ear was released and my hearing was back to normal. Thanks Dr. Oas and Frank!"

Sports Medicine

"I am a 66 year old, hold a master degree in health and physical education and coached for many years. I have been a long distance runner for over thirty years. I was referred to Rehabilitex by my doctor after experiencing a sciatica problem. My experience at Rehabilitex has been super! My appointments were made to fit my schedule and always started on time. The entire staff was very friendly, cooperative and caring. Linda, my therapist, re-educated me on nerve/muscle interaction. I found her to be very well trained, caring and sensitive. Thanks to her help and encouragement I was able to improve beyond my expectations in a short time. I left with an understanding and program that hopefully will enable me to physically do the things that I enjoy for the duration. Many thanks to Linda!! I recommend Rehabiltex without reservation."

--- Bud M.

"Now that I have successfully finished physical therapy, I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for all your help in literally getting my back on my feet. It's fair to say that I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I had ACL surgery last November. The pain and loss of movement were tougher than I ever imagined. I don't think I could have made it without your smiling face, sense of humor, and words of encouragement during rehab. I am back riding my bike, playing golf, throwing baseball around with the kids, and even went bowling recently. My doctor says I can resume volleyball, basketball, and even roller skating and ice skating. Thanks again for all your help. I will definitely recommend you to all of my gimpy friends and any clients in your area who need physical therapy."

— Dave P.

"On October 23, 2004, while playing recreational football, I sustained a severe inguinal strain, tearing my adductor. The timing could not have been worse, since I had just begun my training for a half marathon in Phoenix, AZ on 01-08-05. For the first couple of weeks I was in constant pain, unable to walk properly. The thought of running 13 miles was the furthest thing from my mind. I spoke to my primary care physician and told him of my concern of trying to train without knowing the proper way to heal. He referred me to Rehabilitex, Inc., where I began working with Linda. She did a tremendous job of explaining how the strain occurred, and the steps needed in order to come back from this injury. During our meetings, Linda showed me a variety of exercises to perform that would help to build the muscles in my leg, and further rehabilitate the strain. The exercises were such that I could do them at home or in the gym. By following Linda's program I was able to progress at an accelerated rate. The week prior to the race I began to jog again without producing any recurrence of the injury, and was able to ramp up to 6 miles. The day of the race I decided to run at a controlled pace, completing the 13.1 mile race in 2:12. This would not have been possible without the knowledge and assistance provided by Linda and the staff at Rehabilitex. It was important to me to get back to my training regimen, and I thank you for your help in accomplishing that goal."

--- Craig Cupach

Fibromyalgia

"At 83 I was disabled with Polymyalgia. My joints and muscles were very weak. I was hospitalized for a week and given a large dose of Prednisone which increased the weakness. The hospital sent a physiotherapist to teach me exercises to increase my ability to move and then I continued at Rehabilitex and have become so much more mobile. I have gone from a walker, to a cane, and now am walking easily with no pain. I had been a very active woman, playing tennis, walking up and down stairs. So to be stopped so completely was a great shock. However, I'm grateful to be alive after such a serious illness and am willing and grateful for the knowledge and teaching I received at Rehabilitex. The staff is so professional and so caring."

— Marilyn B.

"I started therapy in November for a badly sprained knee. My doctor prescribed both a land and water therapy program. I have to admit, I was a bit put off about spending so much time, three times a week for, what turned out to be eight weeks, but my results and the staff here erased all of my doubts. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The ladies in the front office made sure my appointments were scheduled to best suit my needs. My therapists were terrific; devising my exercise plans, adapting when necessary, and keeping me motivated. They were aware of set backs and improvements and taught me how to adapt on my own when necessary. They kept track of the program. They served as our record keepers, cheerleaders, and as a great source of information. Not only has my knee vastly improved, but my energy level and general fitness have also come a long way. I didn't have any kind of exercise program before due to chronic pain and fatigue and spinal fusion surgery, but working out in the water had been great at taking a load off muscles and joints."
